Oasis has been sold and is now Extreme Rage of Fort Myers
Yes Oasis Paintball Park is now Extreme Rage. Same property that the original Extreme Rage called home.
Those that have been around long enough know OPP bought Extreme Rage years ago, now things have gone full circle.
The new owners ( Rob Grimm and Rob Sims ) have been key to running OPP the last year. You will not see much difference, same friendly experienced staff you have come to expect.
Rob and Rob have joined the Extreme Rage line of fields for the flexibility and advantage of the Extreme Rage name. Todd Adamson has put his support behind Rob and Rob and might even been seen out there from time to time .
Rob and Rob have already started with expanding the operation as well as product lines.
I want to thank everyone who made this venture so fullfilling.
When I opened OPP years ago paintball was on a major decline, our area went from 6 fields to just 1 or 2. Weeks prior to my opening weekend consisted of 1-10 players a day. In a short period of time we blew those numbers out of the water and have stayed consistent. My honest reason for opening OPP was to rebuild the player base in SW Florida, give people a safe fun field and to develop top level teams. I have been very fortunate in all of those areas. Teams started from the ground level and matured with titles at every level each of the last few years. I am so proud of our reffing staff , year after year we have produced PSP and NPPL refs. Our area is a small market but I think we get the most out of it and see it growing leaps and bounds. I have spoken and worked with Rob and Rob and believe they have the passion and work ethic to not miss a beat and keep the momentum going.
As for myself I will still be involved with paintball in our area.I have a new project called Oasis Eco Paintball Park : its geared to the non traditional paintball player . We had great success in our first run. More info to come: will have link up on this site soon. You can email me at : This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. I will help Rob and Rob each step of the way. I will be more hands on with my Annihilators, and I might even start playing again.
Best of Luck Rob and Rob, hang on tight its a crazy and fun ride my friends.
Remember always support your local fields and stores, too much money flowing through those far away internet stores doesn't leave much for the local guys to keep things going.
